Metro Pacific Foundation provides assistance to Cavite

Metro Pacific Investments Foundation (MPIF), the corporate social responsibility arm of infrastructure conglomerate Metro Pacific Investments Corp., has extended assistance to the province of Cavite.

MPIF donated 1,000 sacks of rice and 1,000 grocery bags for the residents of Cavite affected by the coronavirus pandemic.

With the help of PLDT Inc., the donated items were repacked and prepared for delivery to the provincial government.

MPIF president Melody del Rosario, along with PLDT executives, led the delivery of the items to the provincial capital in Trece Martirez City. 

At the turnover were (from left) Arlyn Del Prado, PLDT relationship management executive; Michael Nolasco, PLDT business head, CRB mid Luzon; Jonvic Remulla, governor of Cavite; and Melody del Rosario, MPIF president.

Metro Pacific and its business units led by Manuel Pangilinan earlier mobilized more than P190 million worth of resources to help frontliners and vulnerable communities amid the health crisis.

Metro Pacific's business units include Manila Electric Co., Maynilad Water Services, Light Rail Manila Corp., Global Business Power, Metro Pacifric Hospital Holdings, Metro Pacific Tollways Corp. and Metropac Movers Inc.
