Paranaque mayor leads Bayanihan Para sa Kalikasan Program
Mayor Eric L. Olivarez spearheaded the Bayanihan para sa Kalikasan program earlier today in Barangay Moonwalk. This joint clean-up drive project aims to promote environmental awareness and cleanliness in the community.
The program was organized by the Mayor's office in partnership with the Cleanliness, Beautification, and Sanitation department under Ms. Aileen Claire Riate-Olivarez and Arch. Maan Shayne Pausanos, as well as the City Environment and Natural Resources Office under Mr. Mark Allen Besa.
The event started with a short program where Mayor Olivarez emphasized the importance of taking care of the environment and the community's role in achieving this goal. He also thanked the volunteers and barangay officials for their support and cooperation.
After the program, the volunteers, consisting of residents, city government employees, and students, proceeded with the clean-up drive. They were divided into groups and assigned different areas within the barangay to clean, including the streets, parks, and waterways.
The Bayanihan para sa Kalikasan program is part of the city's efforts to address environmental concerns and promote sustainable development. The program also aims to instill a sense of responsibility among residents and encourage them to actively participate in protecting the environment.
Through this initiative, Mayor Eric Olivarez hopes to create a cleaner and more livable community for the residents of Barangay Moonwalk and the entire city of Parañaque. He also urges everyone to do their part in taking care of the environment by properly disposing of their waste and participating in future environmental programs and activities.
The success of the Bayanihan para sa Kalikasan program in Barangay Moonwalk serves as a testament to the importance of community involvement and cooperation in achieving a common goal.
