Paranaque mayor attends mass wedding ceremony

Mayor Eric L. Olivarez attended the 'Serbisyong Pampubliko: Ikaw at Ako Ikakasal' event held at the Legislative Building of Parañaque City Hall this afternoon. The event was the first-ever Kasalang Bayan organized by District 1 Congressman Edwin L. Olivarez, in collaboration with the City Tourism Office, City Social Welfare and Development Department, and Local Civil Registry.

Under the guidance of the esteemed mayor, 10 couples exchanged vows and pledged their love for each other. Mayor Eric also shared words of hope, expressing his wish that the newlyweds be guided by the Lord as they embark on their journey as husband and wife.

Emphasizing the importance of making God the center of their union, Mayor Eric highlighted that love, respect, and trust for one another will naturally follow. He emphasized the significance of building a strong foundation rooted in faith.

The program commenced with an opening prayer led by Mr. Jojo Feliciano, who also provided spiritual guidance to the couples. In attendance at the event were Ms. Janet Olivarez, the gracious wife of Congressman Edwin, and District 2 City Councilor Rico Golez.

The 'Serbisyong Pampubliko: Ikaw at Ako Ikakasal' event served as a testament to the city government's commitment to promoting public service and supporting the happiness and well-being of Parañaque residents.

Mayor Eric L. Olivarez and the entire city administration extend their warmest congratulations to the newly married couples, wishing them a lifetime of love and harmony.
