Parañaque mobilizes Passport on Wheels

Parañaque City, May 29, 2023 - This morning, Mayor Eric L. Olivarez led the inauguration of Passport on Wheels at SM City BF Parañaque. The initiative is a joint project of Mayor Eric and District 1 Congressman Edwin L. Olivarez, aiming to bring passport services closer to the public, including new applications and renewals.

The Passport on Wheels program is a collaborative effort between the Parañaque City Cultural, Historical, and Tourism Promotions Division, under the leadership of City Tourism Office OIC Mr. Melquiades Alipo-on, and the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA). It seeks to provide convenient access to passport services, eliminating the need for residents to travel far for their passport-related transactions.

Mayor Eric L. Olivarez expressed his gratitude to Congressman Edwin L. Olivarez and the DFA for their support in making the Passport on Wheels project possible. He highlighted the significance of bringing essential government services directly to the people, making it more accessible and hassle-free.

With the launch of Passport on Wheels, Parañaque City residents can now conveniently apply for a new passport or renew their existing ones without having to travel to the main DFA offices.
