Part of Imelda Bridge in Parañaque to be closed to traffic
The city government of Parañaque announced that the northbound portion of Imelda bridge along Ninoy Aquino Avenue will be temporarily closed from Oct. 10 to Nov. 10., according to a report by Manila Bulletin.
According to the Facebook page of the Traffic and Parking Management Office (TPMO), the road closure will be implemented from 9:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m.
The TPMO said the road closure will give way for the installation of tracks and catenary system on the viaduct, which will require casting of concrete plinths and pedestals due to the construction of LRT 1 Cavite Extension Project.
The TPMO said they will deploy additional personnel to assist motorists and monitor the traffic situation in the area.
