Women’s Workers Forum, Mini Job Fair held in Parañaque 

Mayor Eric L. Olivarez once again showed his support for women empowerment by participating in the Women’s Workers Forum and Mini Job Fair held this morning at the Parañaque City Sports Complex. The event, which was part of the celebration of Women’s Month, was organized by the Public Employment Service Office under the leadership of Mr. Henry R. Leonardo, in partnership with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE).

The forum aimed to provide opportunities and information to women who are seeking employment or starting their own businesses. Participants had the chance to attend talks and workshops on entrepreneurship, financial management, and career development, among others. Meanwhile, the job fair featured various companies and agencies offering job vacancies, particularly those suitable for women.

Mayor Olivarez expressed his appreciation for the efforts of the organizers in promoting women’s rights and welfare, and emphasized the city government’s commitment to support programs and projects that empower women. He also encouraged the participants to take advantage of the opportunities provided by the forum and the job fair, and to continue striving for their personal and professional growth.
