Paranaque, Halina ka-klase launch education program
Parañaque City Mayor Eric L. Olivarez expressed his support and gratitude to the non-profit organization, Halina Ka-Klase, during the successful launch of the Halina Ka-Klase 7-Saturday Educational Program at the Barangay Function Hall of Barangay San Antonio in Parañaque City last Saturday.
The educational program, which aims to enhance the basic education of children in the Philippines, will be conducted on seven Saturdays where children aged 6 to 10 from different public and private schools will be taught about social issues such as financial literacy, environmental care, and many more by selected students from Everest Academy.
As an educator himself, the mayor prioritizes the development of the quality of education in the city. He thanked Halina Ka-Klase for launching the program in the city and praised their efforts in promoting the children's education.
The 7-Saturday Educational Program was launched in partnership with the local government of Parañaque, the Barangay San Antonio Sangguniang Kabataan led by SK Chairperson Katrin Eco Buot, and Barangay San Antonio Captain Leopoldo "Pol" Casale.
The program aims to enrich the children's learning experience by providing them with relevant knowledge that they can apply in their daily lives.
